ABOUT APPLEBELL’s Fitness

My name is Hailee Westney and I’m so excited you decided to come to my fitness site. From a young age, I have always been very active and did gymnastics until I was 21. I started at recreational and worked my way up to competitive level training up to 30 hours a week. I competed for Gymnastics Canada and soon earned a scholarship to Michigan State University, a Division 1 school, where I specialized on beam and bars. I not only continued my gymnastics career at MSU but developed a deep interest and passion for Health and Fitness. Being an athlete comes with injuries plus mental and physical challenges and this sparked my love to delve further into exercise and wellness even more. Exercise has had such an impactful difference in my life and has benefited me holistically and I want other people to experience those same benefits and more! After retiring from gymnastics back in 2019, I worked with a company called Lifemark Health and Wellness, for 4 years, as a physiotherapist assistant. I specifically worked with the senior demographic who suffered with osteoporosis and arthritis, leading 1:1 sessions or group fitness classes to help improve bone health, increase muscle mass, and prevent or reduce their risk of falling. I found so much joy in being able to connect with the seniors and watch them transform physically and mentally!Â
My desire and priority is not just physical fitness but creating a space that is positive, safe and allows my clients to make mistakes and grow. As a personal trainer, I am invested in bettering my clients mental, physical and spiritual health leading them to establish new healthy habits making it a lifestyle while feeling empowered, unbreakable, strong, confident in their own skin and like they can show up not only for themselves but for other people as well!Â
